Markets are heating up. Bitcoin just ripped past $100K for the first time since February, with ETH cruising above $2K. Trump’s UK trade deal and chatter about cutting China tariffs sent risk assets flying.
OpenAI just flexed with a $3B acquisition of Windsurf (formerly Codeium). It’s more than a code assistant. Windsurf is an AI-native dev layer where agents write, debug, and ship apps with minimal human input.
🚨BREAKING: OPENAI HAS BOUGHT WINDSURF FOR $3 BILLION DOLLAS

But the real play? Distribution. Windsurf gives OpenAI a front-row seat to model routing decisions across dev teams. That switchboard view is priceless.
And with it, OpenAI can quietly steer more traffic to its own models.
We like to call this a Sam Altman power grab.

Here’s what’s trending this week:
🧠 Kaito dropped Yapper Feeds, a real-time stream of posts from top and rising voices on Crypto Twitter.
🗳️ Balance ran a community vote to decide how rewards should be split. 17,000 votes later, the crowd picked equal distribution by a landslide—78%. Meanwhile, their token EPT just got listed on Bithumb, one of South Korea’s top exchanges.
⚡ Gata upgraded the Gata DataAgent mechanism: from every 45 seconds to every 5 minutes. Each task now pays 5x more.
Now let’s talk AI agents…
Over 1 million on-chain agents have already spun up, pulling in $8.7M in revenue in just 5 weeks.
Source: vaneck.com
On top of that, VanEck thinks we’ll see over a million new AI agents launched in 2025.
DeFi was the first playground. But agents are already migrating to gaming, social, and consumer apps.
The agent wars are here.
Two weeks ago, Virtuals dropped Genesis: a new token launch system built for contributors.
Genesis is now live on @base.
If you’ve earned points, this is your moment.
Ownership of AI agents is no longer gated by snipers and cabals. It’s earned through contribution.Genesis is a protocol-layer primitive for agent token allocation.
It transforms launches into systems— Virtuals Protocol (@virtuals_io)

No bonding curves. No anonymous sniping. Instead, Genesis rewards skin in the game. You join the 24-hour presale by pledging Virgen Points plus some VIRTUAL.
So far:
Over 700,000 $VIRTUAL committed (~$1.3M)
Price up 200%, touching $2
Many Genesis tokens have doubled
8,300+ wallets joined
Nearly 19,000 transactions recorded
Each launch allocates 37.5% of tokens to contributors, 12.5% to liquidity, and the rest is split between devs, treasury, and marketing.
So how do you earn Virgen Points?
Post about Virtuals (daily submissions encouraged)
Stake tokens (e.g., VADER gets priority weighting)
Hold $VIRTUAL (but diamond hands don’t get extra credit)
Performance varies by project. Ape into a solid project and you might see $0.30+ per point. Early launches had lower FDVs and less point dilution, leading to juicier allocations.
Now? It’s getting heated. More wallets, more points, more competition. Points vanish after 30 days, and if you dump too fast, future earnings take a hit.
This system is not without controversy. Some have criticized the team token unlocks as “slow rugs”. Stay aware, my frens.
Im done buying any @virtuals_io genesis launches until the systemic problem is fixed.
Virgens dont realize it yet, but you are being used as exit liquidity by bad actors both internally (legacy devs with massive supply) and externally.
Its worse than you think on multiple

They’re calling it: Personal Infinite Intelligence. 🧠
So, what exactly is Tether AI?
It’s an open-source runtime for autonomous agents. Think plug-and-play AI brains that can operate anywhere and pay with crypto
🔓 Open-source + decentralized.
💻 Runs on any device: Laptop, phone, Raspberry Pi
⚙️ Composable: Devs can slot it into their apps or build from scratch.
💸 Built-in payments: Using Tether’s Wallet Dev Kit (WDK), agents can send and receive USDT and Bitcoin natively.
But why does this matter?
Visa and Mastercard just revealed their own AI agent plans. Tether is stepping into the ring with something they can’t offer: a fully decentralized system that runs on crypto rails, not corporate APIs or walled-off platforms.
And Tether has been quietly laying the groundwork:
2023: Took a stake in Northern Data Group for AI infra
2024: Global hiring spree for AI talent
2024: Launch of the WDK, built for agent-native payments
It’s a bid to control the foundation of a new AI-driven internet. Tether wants to be the operating system for that future.
Camp Network raised $30M and is making noise as a major AI × IP play and a direct Story Protocol competitor. You can get early exposure by yapping on their Kaito leaderboard or farming points on their loyalty site.
Fraction AI just launched on Base mainnet. After 30M+ testnet sessions and 1.2M agents created, users can now build AI workers that evolve through real-world feedback across domains like writing, finance, and code.
Coinbase Dev just dropped x402, a new open protocol to bring on-chain payments to the web using HTTP status code 402. It lets devs accept crypto in a single line of code, enabling frictionless micropayments.
Reborn announced a strategic partnership with Unitree to accelerate physical AI. Reborn is an open ecosystem for AGI robots, using incentives to drive data collection for robotics.
FLock OFF is live on Bittensor as Subnet 96—an open network for training small AI models at the edge. Anyone can join as a miner or validator to help improve model performance.

The deal will list xTAO on the TSXV under the ticker XTAO, making it the first public company tied to Bittensor. Led by WonderFi founder Karia Samaroo, xTAO runs a validator and holds TAO as its treasury asset.
SevenX Ventures just launched a $10M AO Ecosystem Fund with everVision and BuidlerDAO to back early-stage projects on AO. The fund will support infra, middleware, and apps.
Lantern Capital just launched in partnership with Nethermind, with Tomasz Stańczak joining as GP. The fund is focusing on machine-to-ledger systems, Ethereum L2s, and chain-agnostic infra for the AGI era.

Will AI Agents spend on our behalf? OpenAI’s CPO thinks so…
OpenAI CPO Kevin Weil says it's inevitable we'll let AI agents spend on our behalf, but with strict limits.
“I want this agent to buy this thing for me, but only spend up to $50, and only at a grocery store.”

Most AI models are hallucinating less. Well, except o3.
Contrary to some discussions, I just don’t see signs of a major increase in hallucination rates for recent models, or for reasoners overall, in the data.
It seems like some models do better than others, but many of the recent models have the lowest hallucination rates.

AI in 2025 = Uber in 2016?
people don’t realize how heavily subsidized AI is right now
your o3 prompts probably cost more in electricity alone than your subscription fee
remember when uber was awesome and cheaper than a taxi? yeah, that.
